The Nikkei was down .5% to 15,867. Bridgestone was down 3.5%. Canon was up .9%. Fuji Photo was down .2% to 4400. Hitachi was down 3.1% to 694. Honda was down .3% to 3850. Japan Air was down .8% to 242. NEC was up .6% to 674. NTT was down .5% to 576000. Docomo was down 1.6% to 180000. Sharp was up .2% to 2090. Softbank was up 1% to 2095. Sony was down .8% to 4970. Toshiba was down 1.1% to 792. Toyota was down .4% to 6250.
The Hang Seng was up .2% to 17,219. Cathay Pacific was up .9% to 15.14. China Mobile was up .2% to 51.85. China Netcom was down .6% to 13.62. HSBC was up .2% to 140.1. PCCW was down 1.4% to 4.89.
The KOSPI was up .2% to 1,361.
The Straits Times was down .1% to 2,517.
The Shanghai Composite was up 1.9% to 1,721.
