Asian markets were off with the Nikkei down sharply.
The Nikkei was down 1.3% to 15,635. Canon was down 2.8% to 5880. Daiwa Securites was down 1% to 1313. Fuji Photo was down 1.4% to 4240. Hitachi was up .3% to 657. Honda was down 1% to 3830. Japan Airlines was down 1.3% to 231. NEC was down .6% to 657. NTT was down 1.1% to 559000. NTT Docomo was up 1.1% to 182000. Sharp was down .5% to 2070. Softbank was up 1.7% to 2130. Sony was down 1.9% to 4770. Toshiba was down 2.4% to 766. Toyota was down 1.1% to 6270.
The Hang Seng was down .1% to 17,601. Cathay Pacific was off 2.5% to 15.74. China Mobile was up .1% to 55.55. China Unicom was off 2.8% to 7.59. HSBC was up .6% to 141.6. PCCW was down .2% to 4.81.
The KOSPI was off 1.4% to 1,348.
The Straits Times was off .5% to 2,526.
The Shanghai Composite was off .9% to 1,725.
