Asian markets were off.
The Nikkei was down .6% to 16,284. Bridgestone was off 3% to 2420. Canon was down .8% to 5930. Fuji Photo was up .5% to 4350. Fujitsu was down .6% to 948. Hitachi was down 1.1% to 745. Honda was up 1.3% to 4000. NEC was up .6% to 687. NTT was flat at 596000. Docomo was down .5% to 181000. Sharp was down 1% to 2060. Sony was down 1% to 5050. Softbank was down 5.6% to 2180. Toshiba was down .9% to 815. Toyota was down .2% to 6330.
The Hang Seng was down 1.2% to 17,231. Cathay Pacific was down 1.1% to 14.58. China Mobile was down 1.7% to 51.75. China Netcom was down 1.6% to 13.64. HSBC was down 1.2% to 140.2. Lenovo was down 2% to 2.96. PCCW was up .4% to 4.87.
The KOSPI was down .3% to 1,357.
The Straits Times was up .1% to 2,522.
The Shanghai Composite was up .5% to 1,672
