The FTSE was up .6% to 5,893. BP was up 1.2% to 591. British Air was up 1.2% to 418.25. BT was up .8% to 246.5. GlaxoSmithKline was up .3% to 1468. Reuters was up .6% to 399.75. Vodafone was up .9% to 113.5. Unilever was up 1% to 1272.
The DAXX was up .5% to 5,804. Bayer was up .8% to 38.15. DaimlerChrysler was up .2% to 40.29. DeutscheBank was up .4% to 88.77. Deutsche Telekom was up .7% to 11.27. Siemens was up .1% to 66.
The CAC 40 was .5% to 5,085. Alacatel was up 1.6% to 9.58. AXA was up 1.1% to 28.55. France Telecom was down .1% to 16.5. ST Micro was up .4% to 12.45. Vivendi was up .4% to 27.08.
