The Nikkei was off .6% to 16,022. Bridgestone was down 1% to 2460. Canon was down 1.8% to 6150. Fuji Film was down 2% to 4440. Hitachi was up .4% to 699. Honda was up .7% to 4260. Izuzu was down 2.3% to 4.72. Kobe Steel was down 2.5% to 358. Mitsubishi Corp was down 2.5% to 2120. NEC was down 1% to 588. NTT was down 1% to 571000. Nissan was down 1.6% to 1441. Sharp was up 1.2% to 2035. Softbank was up .2% to 2295. Sony was up .4% to 4690. Toshiba was down .8% to 725. Toyota was down .6% to 7100. Yahoo Japan was up 2.5% 42550.
The Hang Seng was down .1% to 18,869. Cathay Pacific was up .5% to 17.26. China Mobile was up .1% to 65.6. China Netcom was up 3.1% to 15.82. HSBC was down .1% to 150.4. PCCW was up .4% to 5.04.
The KOSPI was up .1% to 1,397.
The Straits Times was up .1% to 2,747.
The Shanghai Composite was down 1% to 1,864.
