Shares in Europe were slightly higher at 6.15 AM New York time.
The FTSE was up .4% to 6,152. Barclays was up .5% to 711. BP was up .7% to 587. BT was up .5% to 279.5. GlaxoSmithKline was down .9% to 1388. Unilever was down .1% to 1299. Reuters was up .2% to 448.25. Vodafone was up .7% to 136. Prudential was up .7% to 647.
The DAXX was up .1% to 6,277. Bayer was down .4% to 39.29. Daimler was up 1.4% to 45.32.DeutescheBank was off a fraction to 98.58. Deutsche Telekom was up .4% to 13.61. Siemens was down a fraction to 70.47.
The CAC 40 was up .1% to 5,354. Alcatel was up .2% to 9.97. AXA was up .5% to 29.99. France Telecom was down .2% to 20.31. ST Micro was down .2% to 13.52. Vivendi was up .8% to 29.9.
