Europe Market Report 11/2/2006 France Telecom Down, Unilever Up Sharply

European markets were off slightly at 5.30 AM New York time.

The FTSE was down .1% to 6,143. BEA was down .9% to 412. Barclays was off .6% to 701. BP was up .3% to 588. BT was down .1% to 277.25. GlaxoSmithKline was up 1.4% to 1412. Reuters was down .9% to 444.25. Unilever was up 4% to 1346. Prudential was off .6% to 641.

The DAXX was down .1% to 6,282. Bayer was down .7% to 68.24. DaimlerChrysler was down .2% to 45,58. DeutscheBank was down .2% to 98.31. Deustsche Telekom was up .5% to 13.6. Siemens was down .5% to 70.2.

The CAC 40 was off .6% to 5,338. Alcatel was down .6% to 9.89. AXA was down .8% to 29.83. France Telecom was down 1.1% to 20.18. ST Micro was down .6% to 13.36. Vivendi was down .3% to 29.77.
