Europe Market Report 9/25/2006 BP Down Sharply, Deutsche Telekom Up

Markets in Europe was modestly higher at 5:15 AM New York time.

The FTSE was up .4% to 5,843. Barclays was up 1.3% to 667.5. BP was down 1.3% to 566.5. BT was up 1.2% to 258. GlaxoSmithKline was up .9% to 1431. Prudential was up 1.1% to 622.5 Reuters was up 1.1% to 428.75. Unilever was up .6% to 1295. Vodafone was up .9% to 116.

The DAXX was up .8% to 5,929. Bayer was up 1.1% to 38.86. DaimlerChrysler was up 1.1% to 39.2. DeutscheBank was up 1% to 93.25. Deustche Telekom was up 1.9% to 12.42. SAP was up .6% to 152.56. Siemens was up .1% to 66.95.

The CAC 40 was up .6% to 5,174. Alacatel was up 1.4% to 9.35. AXA was up .8% to 28.88. France Telecom was up 1.9% to 17.86. ST Micro was up .4% to 12.99. Vivendi was up 1.2% to 27.99.
