Europe Market Report 9/7/2006 AXA, BMW, DaimlerChrysler Down

Europe markets were off sharply in trading at 5.15 AM New York time.

The FTSE was down 1% to 5,871. Barclays was down 1.5% to 655. BP was off .9% to 590. British Air was off 1% to 414.75. BT was off .6% to 248. GlaxoSmithKline was off .9% to 1465. Prudential was off 1.5% to 579.5. Reuters was off 1.8% to 402.5. Unilever was off .4% to 1259. Vodafone was off 1.5% to 112.5.

The DAXX was off .8% to 5,770. BASF was off .3% to 63.2. Bayer was off .1% to 37.86. BMW was off 1.5% to 39.03. DaimlerChrysler was off 1.5% to 39.99. DeutscheBank was off 1% to 88.3. Deutsche Telekom was off .9% to 11.16. SAP was off .5% to 146.35. Siemens was off .9% to 85.85.

The CAC 40 was off 1% to 5,064. Alacatel was off 1% to 9.48. AXA was off 2.5% to 28.25. France Telecom was off .9% to 16.54. ST Micro was down 1.7% to 12.37. Vivendi was up .3% to 27.14.
