The FTSE was off .8% to 5,832. BP was down .8% to 565.5. British Air was up .1% to 414.75. BT was up .3% to 249.25. GlaxoSmithKline was down .3% to 1464. Prudential was up 1.1% to 589.5. Reuters was up .1% to 400.75. Unilever was down .8% to 1257. Vodafone was up .2% to 113.75.
The DAXX was off .8% at 5,747. Bayer was off 1% to 37.71. DaimlerChrysler was off 1.4% to 39.59. DeutscheBank was off .9% to 87.7. Deutsche Telekom was up .2% to 11.25. SAP was down 1.7% to 143.18. Siemens was down .7% to 65.25.
The CAC 40 was down .9% to 5,026. Alacatel was off 2.7% to 9.31. AXA was down .8% to 28.25. France Telecom was down .1% to 16.55. ST Micro was up .3% to 12.68. Vivendi was down .1% to 26.79.
