Market Wrap September 5, 2006

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up .04% to 11,469.28.

The Nasdaq was up .57% to 2,205.70

The S&P 500 was up .17% to 1,313.25.

Genta's (GNTA) cancer drug was given a less than glowing reports from the FDA. The stock fell 39% to $.85 on over 41 million shares.

Aldolor (ADLR) dropped 46% to $13.50 on over 23.5 million sharaes as it announced that two of the three trials for its intestinal treatment "failed to meet their endpoints."

Pegasus Wireless (PGWC) dropped 38% to $1.51 on 17 million shares after a damaging story in Barron's.

JDS Uniphase was up 5% to $15.14 continuing its mini-rally last week.

Devon Energy (DVN), which found a huge oil deposit in the Gulf of Mexico with Chevron and some other companies was up 12% to $72. Chevron was up nearly 3% to $6.50. Anadarko (APC), a company that could benefit from the new reserve rose almost 6% to $50.30.
