According to Reuters, Carlos Ghosn, head of Renault and Nissan has told a French newspaper that he is still looking for a partner in North America. Media reports say that his negotiations with GM have not gone well.

Reuters writes that Honda has unveiled a diesel can that runs as cleanly as gas powered autos. The car should hit US markets in 2008.

Reuters writes that Bank of America is looking for a financial institution to buy in Europe, but that the move is not a priority unless it can get the right price.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Hewlett Packard's explanation of its board spying scandal may hurt the company further if the departing chaiman, Patricia Dunn, does not back the company's version of events.

The WSJ writes that Sony hopes that its new Playstation 3 will drive high definition TV and movie sales. But, problems with the platform may help rivals take share from the Japanese consumer electronics company.

According to the New York Times, the head of Hewlett Packard is having his success and agenda to drive the company forward hurt by the company's board spying scandal.
