Asia Markets 11/2//2006 China Mobile Up Sharply, Comsys Off

Asian markets were mixed with the Hang Seng up.

The Nikkei was off .2% to 16,350. Asahi Glass was down 3.2% to 1312. Canon was down .5% to 8280. Casio was up 1.4% to 2460. Comsys was down 3.7% to 1240. Daiwa Securities was down .6% to 1319. Fuji Film was up 1.8% to 4530. Hitachi was down .3% to 673. Honda was up .7% to 4160. Japan Air was up .9% to 225. NEC was down .8% to 601. NTT was down .5% to 585000. Sharp was down .5% to 2095. Softbank was up .2% to 2440. Sony was down .2% to 4780. Toshiba was down .4% to 737. Toyota was up .3% to 3220. Yahoo Japan was up .2% to 45900.

The Hang Seng was up 1.4% to 18,715. Cathay Pacific was up .6% to 17.2. China Mobile was up 3.7% to 65.9. China Netcom was off .4% to 13.68. HSBC was up 1% to 150.2. PCCW was off .6% to 4.81.

The KOSPI was up .7% to 1,384.

The Straits Times was down .3% to 2,731.

The Shanghai Composite was down .2% to 1,851.
